Crypt Drive Sync

An open-source plugin for Obsidian.

Crypt Drive Sync keeps your Obsidian vault the same on all your devices — Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android — by storing it in your own Google Drive, encrypted on your device before upload. Google stores only encrypted files: no note names, no text. The format is rclone crypt, so your data is never locked into this plugin.

What it accesses

• Google sign-in, to connect your Google Drive.
• Google Drive with the drive.file scope only: the plugin sees just the files it created itself, never the rest of your Drive.

There is no server and no analytics. The developer never receives your data, your password or your sign-in.
